Glen Lee
On Sunday (17th Nov), i left the house at 0900 and headed North...
Not realy knowing where to go, i thought about passing Edzell and seeing how the weather and light was up there. Passed a empty car park at the entrance to the Blue Door walk (see other post about this), thought twice about stopping but carried on around the corner on the road to Loch Lee
Passed lots of great scenery as i decided to visit the waterfall way past the end of Loch Lee
To be fair it was a slog..

The walk is a flat dirt track along the North side of Loch Lee, after 45mins you cross over the "Waters of Lee", i couldn't resist a photo...
In the above photo, you can just see the waterfall that was my final destination at the bottom of the hill shown on the left of photo. As it was another spur of the moment trip, i never prepared for how long i would be walking and never carried any food or drinks!! Of which i regretted...
I must have sat at the Waters of Lee for about 20mins, enjoying the water rush past and as the sun was low, it started to cast shadows of the southern hills. The clouds started to appear on what was a crisp blue sky day
Map of the trip...
Fair to say, sore legs Monday (and Tuesday)...
